Tizen Developer Conference 2015 is specifically crafted for Tizen developers, App developers, ISVs, Platform designers, Operators, OEMs, Hardware vendors, Software vendors, Open source enthusiasts, and anyone engaged in Tizen.

The program committee is requesting for submissions in the following areas:

Tizen project and Platform development

  • Platform overview and key components
  • Platform tools and process
  • Outreach - Engaging companies, governments, and others
  • Community building and fostering
  • Documentation, Artwork, and Infrastructure

Application development, deployment and Tizen Ecosystem

  • Upcoming and Popular applications
  • Use of Tizen APIs and SDK
  • Developmental strategies for  applications on Tizen devices using HTML5 / Tizen Native
  • Design Guidelines and User Experience
  • Tizen Apps deployment worldwide. Includes monetization, internationalization, and localization.
  • Tizen Communities and Business development

Device development, Tizen profiles use, and IoT

  • New devices / profiles and product development stories
  • Improvements and developments in Tizen hardware adaptation.
  • Information around supported hardware platforms.
  • Tizen as an IoT OS – features, APIs (Web and Native), Case studies,and Future plans

We also welcome submissions of any other Tizen related topics, so be creative. The program committee will review every submission to create a vibrant and interesting conference. If you will need travel support, please indicate this in your registration.

The requirements for submissions areSubmissions should include a 300-500 word abstract and the speaker(s) bio(s). In your submission, please include:

  • Abstract : 300 to 500 words Why your proposal is important for Tizen
  • Speaker(s) Bio(s)
  • Relevance of your proposal to Tizen
  • Complete learning points for What the audience should expect to learn from your presentation
  • Why you should be you are the presenter we should be listening this from.
  • Previous speaking engagements experiences


At TDC2015, Panel Discussions, Presentations, and Lab will be available. * BOFs, Lighting Talk, Tutorial and Mini Summit will not proceed.

  • Presentation: 1 or 2 speakers will make a presentation about a technical or marketing topic.
  • Panel Discussion: 4 to 6 invited guests people will encourage a discussion based on a particular work or theme.
  • Lab: Lab will consist of practical exercise or lesson lasting about 1 to 1.5 hours.
