In anticipation of the Tizen 3.0 release for IVI early next year, the Tizen IVI team is pleased to announce that Tizen 3.0-M2-Aug for In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) was released on August 29th.

Hey app developers, have we got something for you! The Tizen App Challenge is now open, which is your chance to get in on over $4M of prizes for the best apps submitted to the Tizen Store.
Developers can submit their certified apps to the Tizen App Challenge between now and November 1st, 2013.
Eligible submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges, with prizes ranging from $30,000 to $200,000. In addition, HTML5 apps are eligible for a special $50,000 award.

After a couple of weeks reviewing the 160+ sessions submitted to the program committee, we have finally come up with a first schedule for the Tizen Developers Conference 2013. We have created a balanced scheduled, trying to fullfil the needs of the Application developer community, those investigating deploying Tizen on their devices, and the community of people currently developing Tizen.
